February 1-8 : Brussels, Belgium

Chez les Pelzer on the avenue de Visé, Lancelot reposes for a little cat nap.  My balcony is in the middle on what is apparently the third story, but curiously enough I walk up five flights of stairs to get to my room...hmmmm....
This is the new library of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  It is referred to either as "la nouvelle bibliothèque" or "toblerone" ; this might be an obvious connection for those of you in the know.
This is a square on part of the ULB Solbosch campus near the building housing the Faculté de Philosophie et Lettres.  It had snowed the whole day and much of the night before, giving us a great blue sky.
Françoise Radelet, a super charming and très hospitable lady who happens to be the aunt of a belgo-louisianais friend, Philippe.  We took advantage of the nice weather to head to the Parc de Tervuren.
Obviously I was happy to get to frolic (or at least step foot) in the snow.
